With your glittery & glamorous Everyday Tee

Need a simple addition to your wardrobe, without it getting too complicated? Get inspired by this new, glamorous version of the Everyday Tee and make any outfit a bit more sparkly!

What you will need:

• 1 fingering / lace weight yarn (ITO Asa)
• 1 glittery yarn (Lang Yarns Paillettes)
• Everyday Tee pattern
• 3.25 needles (or the needles you need to get the gauge)
• 4 stitch markers

Step 1:

Cast on the indicated number of sts with a double thread of ITO Asa yarn. Switch to combining one thread ITO Asa Yarn with one thread Paillettes yarn, held together.

Step 2:

Skip the binding and go directly to the instructions for the short rows (forming of the front neckline). Follow the pattern until you have separated body and sleeves.

Step 3:

Work lower body until it has reached the desired length. Cut Paillettes yarn. Double ITO Asa yarn and work i-cord edge as follows:

• k3, sl 3 sts back onto left needle
• *k2, k2togtbl, slip 3 sts back onto right needle*
• repeat from * to * until all sts are worked. Cut yarn and pull through remaining sts.

You can also opt for a simple garter stitch edge, by working 1 rd k, 1 rd p, 1 rd k, 1 rd p, then binding off all sts knitwise.

Step 4:

Work sleeves following instructions for another 8 rds or until they have reached the desired length. Repeat i-cord edges as for lower body.

Step 5:

Pick up sts along neckline with double thread of ITO yarn, then work i-cord edge as you did for the lower body and sleeve edges.
Weave in all ends, sewing the i-cord edges neatly together.

Et voilà : you’re glitter-ready for Celebration time!
