The Cassis sleeveless top is knit from the bottom up in the round, with a braid pattern in the center front and back all the way up until the armhole. From that point on, front and back are worked separately, while continuing an alternated form of the braid pattern, with only one twist symmetric to the other side of the neckline.

The straps are formed by a twisted cable and sewn onto the corresponding back strap with Kitchener stitch. The armhole edges are formed with an ongoing i-cord. The gauge indicated in the pattern is a guideline, but can divert by a few stitches without affecting too much the pattern and shape. The form is fitted, but the textures used tend to ease up after washing, making it wider.

Le top sans manches Cassis est tricoté de bas en haut en rond, avec un motif tressé au centre du devant et du dos qui remonte jusqu’aux emmanchures. A partir de là, le devant et le dos sont tricotés séparément tout en continuant une version un peu différente du motif tressé avec une seule torsion symétrique par rapport à l’autre côté de l’encolure.

Les bretelles sont formées par une torsade torsadée et cousue à la bretelle du dos correspondante en grafting. Les bordures d’emmanchure sont formées par une i-cord (cordelette) continue. L’échantillon donné dans le patron est indicative, mais peut différer de quelques mailles sans trop affecter le modèle et la forme. Ce modèle est ajusté, mais les points utilisés ont tendance à se relâcher après le lavage, ce qui l’élargit.

Le choix des laines est très large, et vous verrez sur la photo ci-dessous les résultats obtenus en utilisant soit du soft silk, du lin ou encore du coton.

Das schulterfreie Cassis Top wird von unten nach oben in Runden bis zum Armausschnitt gestrickt. Ein Zopfmuster ziert das Vorder- und Rückenteil. Ab dem Armloch wird das Vorder- und Rückenteil in Hin- und Rückreihen gestrickt, während das Zopfmuster sich symmetrisch dem Halsausschnitt anpasst.

Ein Zopfmuster ziert auch die Träger, die auf der Rückseite an der entsprechenden Stelle mit einem Maschenstich zusammengenäht werden. Der Armausschnitt wird durch eine durchgehende Kordel eingefasst. Die angegebene Maschenprobe dient als Orientierungshilfe, da die Passform von ein paar Maschen Unterschied nicht sehr beeinträchtigt wird. Die Passform ist tailliert aber da das Garn nach dem Waschen etwas nach gibt, wird das Top weiter.
