Coral Cove Scarf

The Coral Cove Scarf is a downloadable PDF knitting pattern for an adjustable, symmetric triangle scarf worked in honeycomb brioche. The textured stitch pattern creates a soft, dimensional fabric and works beautifully with fingering- or sport-weight yarn.

The pattern is written for one size, but it has been designed to be easily adjustable. By adding or removing pattern repeats, you can change both the length and the width — whether you prefer a longer, more enveloping scarf or a smaller everyday accessory.

Yarn requirements

Fingering- or sport-weight yarn

• Approx. 600 m / 656 yds

Sample yarns:

• Lana Grossa Ecopuno – coral version 
• Myak Fior di Lino – grey version

Needles & gauge

• Needles: 3.75 mm (US 5) circular needles, 60–80 cm (24–32”)
• Gauge (forreference):
  • 22 sts × 30 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch
  • 20 sts × 56 rows = 10 × 10 cm in honeycomb brioche stitch

Gauge is not critical for this scarf. What matters most is achieving a fabric that works well with the honeycomb brioche stitch. A different gauge may affect the finished size and yarn requirements.
