Coral Cove Scarf

3,50

The Coral Cove Scarf is a small triangular scarf, worked entirely in a honeycomb brioche stitch pattern.

The pattern is written for one size, but it has been designed to be easily adjustable. By adding or removing pattern repeats, you can change both the length and the width — whether you prefer a longer, more enveloping scarf or a smaller everyday accessory.

The Coral Cove Scarf works well with both fingering and sport weight yarn, making it a flexible project and a good opportunity to experiment with fibres or use something special from your stash. Depending on the yarn choice, the finished scarf can feel lighter or more substantial, while always keeping its textured character.

Yarn requirements

  • Fingering or sport weight yarn
  • Approx. 600 m / 656 yds

Sample yarns:

Needles & gauge

  • Needles: 3.75 mm (US 5) circular needles, 60–80 cm (24–32”)
  • Gauge (as reference):
    • 22 sts × 30 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch
    • 20 sts × 56 rows = 10 × 10 cm in honeycomb brioche stitch

Gauge is a guideline rather than a strict requirement. What matters most is achieving a fabric that works well with the honeycomb brioche stitch.
