Fairylights Cardigan

7,50

The Fairylights cardigan is worked top-down with raglan increases along the upper body until the sleeves and body are split and worked separately. A delicate lace pattern decorates the sleeves all the way down, ending in a simple garter stitch binding at 2/3 length. The body, on the other hand, is knit in simple stockinette stitch. The buttonbands with the buttonholes are worked simultaneously along the front edges of the body. The slightly rounded neckline is formed by using short rows right after the neckline binding. This pattern combines techniques such as short rows, raglan increases and buttonhole shaping which are all explained in the introduction, to make it accessible to newer knitters.
