Moss sweater

7,50

The Moss sweater is a comfortable garment perfect for spending time outdoors and blocking out the cold. The sweater is worked entirely in stockinette stitch, apart from the bindings in twisted rib, but a few details make it stand out and a perfect fit, such as the saddle shoulders and the elongated lower back.

The sweater is worked in one piece, top-down, starting at the neckline with a folded ribbing. From this point on, increases are made for the upper body along the saddle shoulders, and later on also along the armholes with raglan increases. Short rows are worked right at the beginning to form a higher back and ensure a better fit. Once the upper body is finished, sleeves and lower body are worked separately in the round, and the elongated lower back is created with short rows.

Instructions are also given for a variation, with coloured stripes along the bindings.

Since the sweater is worked from the top down, the length of both lower body and sleeves can easily be adjusted to every body type and ensuring a well-fitting, comfy sweater.
